Baofeng DM32: 150K contacts made easy, really...
Yes, you can store the entire USA DMR RadioID.net database of 133K+ contacts on your DM32! All you need is the correct firmware loaded onto the DM32. 👍😀
The key is to flash your DM32 with version DM32.01.L01.048. The "L" is the key to getting access to the storage memory needed to accomodate the database on the DM32. I own (3) DM32's. One uses the "L" firmware shown below on the left. Two of them were using the non-L version shown on the right. The two on the right only held 49K contacts. After the flash to match the one on the left, all (3) hold 133K+ contacts-the entire USA database!

Baofeng has it listed as firmware V.1.47. However the ZIP file actually contains the file DM32_L01_048_20250821.bin that you need. Before you flash, be sure to back your codeplug! A hard reset (factory initialize) is needed after the update, then you write your codeplug and contacts back to the radio. Contacts file extracted this past week is attached. You import this AFTER you tell the CPS to delete all the existing contacts. Then WRITE them to the radio.
