Gentlemen,
Attached is the Comma Separated Values (CSV) file that contains all of the Virginia-based (+ my brother's NY call sign) digital registered users in the RadioID.net database as of 19 JAN 2026. The file that comes down directly from RadioID.net is not in the proper order to be automatically imported into the Baofeng DM-32UV. I have reformatted the attached file so that it can be directly imported in the DM-32UV. I have the entire database and can make that available to you if you are interested, but I was not sure how much memory was available in the DM-32UV. There are 67,000 users worldwide in the database and approximately 3,725 in the Virginia list.
When loaded into the DM-32UV and the radio is configured as I outline below, the attached photo is what your screen will look like when you receive a digital transmission.
To install these contacts:
1) Open the CPS DMR Baofeng Programming Software.
2) Plug your radio into the programming cable, turn it on (volume at least 3/4 of the way up) and read the data from the radio. You will not be changing anything other than adding these new contacts if you follow the steps below.
3) Click on the "+" next to the word "Digital" to expand that list and navigate down to "CSV Contacts" and click on it to display the Contacts in the system.
4) If you have any contacts in this list from outside of Virginia that you want to save, at the bottom of the screen click "Export" and complete the text box with the file name and location where you would like this file to be saved. Then you will need to use your favorite "csv" edit tool to import those to the attached file. If all of the contacts in your list are from Virginia, or if the only contact you have is the one named "Contacts 1", which is the default contact in the software, You can then move on to the next step as all imported contacts will be those based in Virginia.
5) Click the button on the bottom of the screen labeled "Import", navigate to the .csv file that I have included in this Email (Virginia DMR Contact List for Import), then click on "Open". You should see a message box that says " import successful!". Click OK to close that box. On the screen you should now have a list of 3,724 Virginia DMR contacts, plus my brothers NY contact.
6) Your radio should still be turned on and connected to the programming cable from the step above. At the bottom of the screen, click on "Write" and the data from the screen will be written to the radio.
7) So that this data will be saved every time that you read from and write to the radio, go to "File - Save" to save the DM-32UV configuration file. You may now turn the radio off and disconnect it from the programming cable.
8) So that the image on your radio matches the one that I have attached to this Email message, we will now go to the radio and make a couple of basic entries.
9) On the radio select a digital channel.
10) Push the "OK" or Menu button until the menu is displayed. Select "Talk group" at the top of the list, go down the list to number 5 which is "Talker Alias", Choose "Alias TX Set" and set it to "On".
11) Once again Push the "OK" or Menu button until the menu is displayed. Select "Talk group" at the top of the list, go down the list to number 5 which is "Talker Alias", Choose "Alias RX Display" and select "Contact First".
12) Your Baofeng DM-32UV should now have the entire list of Virginia contacts in it and display as my does when someone talks.
Feel free to share this with anyone who might like it. Remember, it is formatted for the Baofeng DM-32UV only.
I also have the DM-32UV file with 65 different Virginia frequencies in it and I am happy to share that with anyone. I will be adding more to it and developing Zones for certain areas and activities and anyone is welcome to that as well.

Good Luck and enjoy!
